A Big Fat Tuscan Wedding

I've been to quite a few weddings in the last few years. And while all of them had special, beautiful, memorable moments, none were quite as magical as SAY & Dr G's wedding at Tenuta di Corsano in Tuscany.

It could have been the build up: a stunning evening of delicious food in Siena, fireworks and fireflies...

Or it could have been the location: beautiful Tuscan hillsides, sloping vineyards and vistas of 1,000 year old churches...

Or the ceremony site: an intimate circle around the bride and groom in between a peaceful infinity pool and said vineyards and vistas...

Or the ceremony itself: a romantic mix of heartfelt vows and beautiful readings that were perfectly chosen by the couple...

Or the thoughtful details: from the accordion and mandolin players to the delicious prosciutto table to the perfectly set tables...

But most likely, it was the love felt all around. Cheesy, yes, but very true! The details were just details, after all, accenting the celebration of one of my favorite couples! There was so much love and happiness - it was a seriously great evening.

And the fact that we were all there, together, in Italy? Did not suck. ;-)

(P.S. This is my 100th post on this here travel blog! How fun that it landed on 11/11/11!)
